Meet the foodguys

Mark founded Cascade Fruit Marketing in 1991 which ultimately became foodguys. What started off as a couple of people making calls, turned into a value-driven mission to create raving fans and make lives across the supply chain easier.  

.Slade joined foodguys in 2012. With a background in sales, start-ups, and management, Slade leads foodguys as a whole as well as works with his customers on getting them exactly what they need. 

I’m a Naval Veteran and Portland State Alumni with my bachelor’s degree in Global Supply Chain Management, and a minor in economics. I’m a year and a half into my career at foodguys and every day has brought new opportunities to help clients and learn more about this industry. 

I live in Connecticut with my husband, son, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. My husband is in the military and this is our last duty station before we move back to the West Coast. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Cal Poly Humboldt. Here are some things I enjoy doing—Hiking, traveling, and trying new vegan food.

Howdy! I am the Food Safety Specialist at foodguys. I am responsible for ensuring supplier food safety compliance and working with sales to resolve any customer’s quality issue.

I was raised in the Heartland, attended A&M and Bible College, moved my family to another country, and I am privileged to be the father of 8 amazing kids who are being raised in a cross-cultural, multi-national bilingual home. I joined foodguys as a Sales Trainee at the end of 2022 after enjoying many years in several different service industries.

I source and sell food ingredients here at foodguys. I’ve been in the food ingredients business for many years and enjoy providing solutions to both customers and vendors.

My duties are to provide the best customer service possible, resolve any issues in a timely manner, arrange freight, and provide support to my awesome sales team. In my off time, I'm a Team Manager for a BMX Team of 40+ riders. I also enjoy doing anything outdoors and always have some sort of art project going on whether it's remodeling my home, painting, or building something.

I'm Devin, I've been with foodguys for a few years. As a Sales Manager, I get the privilege of mentoring future foodguys while also working with my customers towards successful productions and product launches.

Born and raised in the PNW, I moved to Scotland in 2015 where I received my bachelor's degree in Nursing and lived for 8 years. foodguys was my first job at 16 years old so I'm excited to be back! I live with my daughter and our two cheeky cats. During my free time, you'll usually find me in the kitchen cooking, baking, and having family over for a competitive game of Clue and dinner!

I am the marketing coordinator for foodguys. I enjoy working on trade shows, digital design projects, branding, SEO, website development, and all other visible touchpoints for foodguys.

When not working with our wonderful vendors, I am an avid reader and outdoor photographer enthusiast. I also have spent the last 35 years as a performing artist, finding opportunities to sing opera and musicals with local theatre companies.

My name is Emma, I am from Western MA & I am the Talent Gal here at foodguys! I help fill all our open roles (recruiting) and assist our HR Director with any HR needs, to support the team. When I am not interviewing talented folks – I am spending time with my family or in my garden (unless it’s winter – then I hibernate with a book!). 

I joined the foodguys team in November of ’22 as an Executive Sales Assistant to Max and Vance. I am from and located in the Greater Cincinnati Area. I enjoy being around family and friends. I love taking weekend trips to Lake Cumberland, KY whenever I get the chance!

I help my team to focus on the matters that can improve the business, by contributing with customer-oriented solutions and staying ahead of possible undesirable outcomes.  

I am the marketing assistant for foodguys! I graduated from The University of Alabama in May 2021. I create platforms for foodguys to help stay connected with each other and our customers. I collaborate with the team on internal training projects and other external promotional work! 

I am a CSM at foodguys.  In my spare time I like to be grill and go fishing.  I am also getting back to brewing my own beer.  I have a family of 5 with two dogs that do not know that they are dogs. 

I’m Juddson from the mountains of eastern Kentucky, which means I Iove everything outdoors. My true passion is being a father and coaching my son. I am excited to be a part of your team and looking forward to great things!

As a CSM (Customer Service Manager), I work closely with our sales team and customers - managing many of our current supply chains with the goal of always improving the variety of ways we can meet and exceed expectations. I also work each and every day with manufacturers, freight carriers, and warehouses all over the world to ensure that our customers are able to meet their production needs

I have my Masters in Arts and Organizational management as well as my Bachelor's in Business Management. My education background is incredibly helpful when working through finding the best solutions for our customers, our team as well as life. Our family spends our spare time cheering on our youngest playing softball, time at the beach, and being outdoors. foodguys is more than just a company to work for, it's our extended family. 

I work on the fantastic foodguys accounting team. My focus is accounts receivables. I oversee all outstanding customer accounts and billing processes. I am in daily contact with customers and the sales team about upcoming payments and prepayments. I also assist the sales team in assessing current and new customer credit coverage needs. 

Our People Gal, Jessica graduated from Portland State University with degrees in both Human Resources Management and Business Leadership. She chose this career path because her two passions are people and business. Since 2016, she's had the opportunity to apply her passion, knowledge, and experience to her role as our Human Resources Director dealing with everything “people” here at foodguys! 

I am a sales agent here at foodguys. My job entails helping my customers to find exactly what they need, at the price they need it, and within the timeframe, when they need it. I work in depth with our suppliers each & every day to ensure prompt and swift service for customers with only the best ingredients. 

With 30 years in the food business, I’m happy to consider myself a “lifer” in the community. The most gratifying part of the process is finding great solutions for customers. I love to cook, travel with my family, & root for Seattle pro sports teams. 

My name is Daria and I am the Food Safety Specialist at foodguys.  You can remember this to pronounce my name, dairy – ah , because I love dairy cows! I have a Masters degree in Food Science and Technology from Oregon State University. When I am not working my dog Truly and I are practicing agility or doing therapy dog work together. 

I am the Controller here at foodguys.  I live in the beautiful state of Montana with my husband and two daughters.  Our family enjoys camping, boating, and riding ATVs.  I also enjoy reading and making puzzles, and I love being part of the foodguys team!!

Laurie Marsh is a professional corporate trainer whose passion for knowledge, focuses on the art of teaching adults in corporate settings. Her love of education and language is prevalent in her techniques as she strives for creating training that is methodical, logical, and provides clarity; enabling foodguys to achieve and surpass their goals. She’s also a pretty fun gal! 

Lorinda is a detail oriented and organized lady.  She will be the first to admit she loves a list more than most. A US Navy veteran and certified Logistics Specialist with 15+ years of experience in shipping and scheduling. She is your go-to gal for all your customer support needs.  

I work with the sales team to ensure the cogs keep turning. I also liaise with vendors and customers when necessary and help produce our financials. When I am not adding another stamp to my passport, I enjoy cooking and binging on shows like Somebody Feed Phil and Taste the Nation. 

I am a proud father of two teenage girls that are growing up to be fantastic human beings. I enjoy coaching my kid's sports, baseball, traveling and cooking. Before coming over to foodguys in January of 2010 my career was in the culinary arts as an executive chef. Working with customers on projects with my ingredient knowledge is something that excites me and makes me love my career as a foodguys. 

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and still here. I started with foodguys in 2009 as a sales agent. I am now doing customer service and compliance. My foodguys name is Solid Guy, and I do everything possible to live up to that. You can count on me! 

I am a Sales Manager here at foodguys. At foodguys, we all pick a foodguys name, and I chose "Dedicated Guy."  I'm committed to doing a great job and making things easy for my customers.

I bring value and expertise to all your ingredient needs. Everything from saving you money to helping you create the next new SKU for your company.  This "got it gal" has you covered. My family and I live on a small farm, where I love to grow our food. I am proud to say I am a new mom who can't wait to teach my son about the farm. 

I joined the foodguys team in July of 2021 as a Sales Assistant to Mac.  I am based in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from the University of Cincinnati – go Bearcats!  I enjoy working with customers and providing quality service.  When I’m not at work, I love being outside with my two dogs and traveling.

I am the Executive Sales Assistant to Slade. I have been with foodguys since 2020. I enjoy being able to assist customers and solve problems. I am a Florida native, currently living in Palm Beach Gardens. I am married and have two teenage boys.  

 I work with our HR Team to make our people and company happy. I am from Mid-Missouri and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in HR Management. In my free time, you’ll find me spending time with my three children and two dogs, exercising, crocheting, or reading a good book.

As an Oregon State University Alum with a degree in agriculture business management, I am skilled at developing the right action plan for each of my client's unique needs and am committed to helping them choose the best products. Throughout my career, I have earned the trust of several national and international companies and maintained strong client relationships that generate repeat business. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and blogging my own culinary creations. 

I grew up with a love for good food and the industry. My grandparents owned a restaurant and I spent most of his high school and college years in and around the restaurant business. Whether it is Monday morning or Friday afternoon I bring the same willingness, energy, and desire to solve whatever the problem is and get the job done for my customers. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, taking my dog on adventures, and getting together with friends to watch College football. 

After spending more than a decade in the restaurant industry, I joined the foodguys team in 2012, and continue to expand my knowledge of the food industry each day. I am passionate about food, learning, and helping others, and I get to do all of them at foodguys. My favorite part of the job is solving puzzles, and perhaps the next puzzle I’ll work on is figuring out how to make your supply chain more efficient

Pablo is one of foodguys' newest team members coming from a purchasing background with a specialty in sweeteners. As Director of Purchasing, Pablo will be helping foodguys grow the sweetener category along with an expansion into food ingredient chemicals. 

I joined the foodguys team as Devin’s Executive Assistant Sales assistant in August of 2021 with prior experience in the food industry as a Sales Assistant.  Prior to getting into the food industry, I served in the United States Navy for 4 years as a Quartermaster. In my free time I enjoy spending my time outdoors with my blended family.  I also enjoy cooking, reading, and traveling.   

Being the "Valiant Gal" is who I am and what I do!  I work hard to get you what you need, when you need it, all for the right price.  When I'm not hard at work, I love spending my time traveling with family and visiting with friends. 

I joined the food guys team as an Administrative Assistant to support our incredible accounting team. I currently live in Cincinnati, Ohio. In my free time, you’ll find me traveling, watching football with my family, and being outdoors with my two boxers.

As the Global Guy, I enjoy navigating the world of ingredient sourcing on a global scale. I help my customers simplify their supply chain with custom warehousing programs, contractual ingredient sourcing, and a global network of vendors and suppliers. 

My name is Marcie and I’m married with two teenagers! I love to travel, crochet, read, and cook. I’ve lived in the PNW and all-over Southern California. I am a new Executive Sales Assistant here at foodguys and I’m super excited to be a part of the Team!

I'm Zach and I'm a foodguys Sales Trainee. I played golf at the University of Arkansas Fort-Smith where I graduated in 2018. I enjoy anything sports-related and relaxing by the pool or at the lake. 

I am here to make sure your supply chain is running as smoothly as possible, and you get your ingredients when you need them.

I work as an Accounting Specialist performing Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivable functions. Located in Chattanooga, TN, I enjoy bringing my best to the foodguys team daily. Being a foodguy is fun, energizing, and rewarding.

As a senior team member here at foodguys I am empowered to utilize the resourcefulness, creativity, and management skills that embodied my previous career, as a chef in the restaurant industry.   I am confident in my ability to assist others in obtaining their procurement needs while resolving production and logistical issues. I am 

passionate in providing a high level of service while helping others achieve their goals & objectives. My hobbies include preparing new cuisine, and 

enjoying stimulating food experiences with family and friends
